Abbey College Ramsey Hosts First HSSP District Year 3/4 Schools Football Competition
Abbey College, Ramsey opened up their new Artificial Football Pitch to host a Year 3/4 Football competition on Tuesday 21st February. The Hunts School Sports Partnership’s first event after February half-term welcomed 12 teams and over 100 children for an afternoon of football fun.
The teams were initially split into four groups of three and played a double robin round against the teams within their group. Following the completion of the group stage, placing matches between an equivalent placed team from another group were organised. The format proved to be very exciting with lots of goals, fantastic goalkeeping and some tight matches!
Congratulations to Warboys Primary Academy who ended the event undefeated and were the Year 3/4 Football Competition Winners.
