Brampton and Warboys share the honours at Spring Term Football Competition
Tuesday 7th February saw the Hunts School Sports Partnership host their first Y5/6 Mixed Football Spring Term competition. The event, which took place at One Leisure St Ives Outdoor Centre, provided another opportunity for Year 5 & 6 children to participate in a competitive football competition following the ESFA Pokémon Cup in the Autumn.
The event was extremely popular with 13 schools, 18 teams and over 150 children playing 46 matches across 6 pitches throughout the afternoon.
The standard of football was fantastic throughout the event, with plenty of close matches and lots of goals scored! The teams were initially split into groups, before progressing onto 2 rounds of placing games against an equivalent placed team from other groups.

The event was superbly supported by Year 9 Sports Leaders from Hinchingbrooke School who refereed every match.
