Course Aims: This 6 hour course is targeted at teachers of Key Stage 2 pupils, but it also has some relevance for teachers of Key Stage 1 pupils.A developmental approach is taken to the teaching of the fundamentals of athleticism. A multi skill approach that demonstrates how athletics underpins all other movements and sports is taken.Within a practical session, participants will be guided through a series of Sportshall Athletics activities covering running, jumping and throwing and exploring a range of equipment.
