KS3 students from Hinchingbrooke School enjoyed a Panathlon Challenge festival on Tuesday 8th February.
34 students, split into 5 teams, rotated around 8 stations focusing on a different sporting activity. At each station teams aimed to gain as many points as possible, with the points gained from each activity added together to give an overall score at the end of the event.
The activities included; New Age Kurling, Boccia, Polybat, Indoor Athletics and more.
Well done to all the students who participated. The finals results were:
1st – Red Team
2nd – Blue Team
3rd – Green Team
4th – Purple Team
5th – Yellow Team
Congratulations to the Red and Blue teams, with the students from both teams now given the opportunity to represent Huntingdonshire at the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough School Games Disability and Inclusion festival in March.
Finally a huge thank you to our Year 9 Sports Leaders who ably lead and scored each activity, whilst providing encouragement to the younger students.
