Quick Sticks Hockey Yr 5/6 – B Teams – Friday 1 March 2019 (Competition)

We are initially running this as an afternoon event, but if we have extensive interest this may change to a whole day event.
1 Team can be entered per school per category (A, B or C). If you would like to add a further team, please let us know and we will add you to the reserve list: HuntsSSP@hinchbk.cambs.sch.uk

|Competition Format / Rules|
|The field of play is rectangular and is that of a standard netball court (30.5m long x 15.25m wide). Areas referred to as attacking ‘circles’ are marked· There are NO Goalkeepers. A team consists of four outfield pitch players and two substitutes· Quicksticks is a game of two periods of 12–14 minutes and a change-over interval of two minutes. The gender balance should be 2 boys and 2 girls on the field of play at all times· The Match Officials have overall responsibility to ensure safety and will also exercise the overall role of assisting and developing players· Players must not wear anything which is dangerous to other players· Result: The team scoring the most goals is the winner; if the teams score an equal number of goals, the match is drawn.
