The School Sports Partnership initiative is one element of the Government’s Physical Education, School Sport and Club Links Strategy (PESSCL).
This is jointly funded by the Department for Education and Skills
(DfES) and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
It is implemented through the Youth Sport Trust.

The School Sports Partnerships are families of secondary and primary schools that work together to enhance the quality of sporting opportunities, through the curriculum, Out of School Hours Learning, inter-school competitions and school to club links; based around a ‘hub’ Sports College.
