Primary School Tag Rugby Competitions Return to St Neots

On Tuesday 18th October, the Hunts School Sports Partnership held a Tag Rugby competition for Huntingdonshire Primary Schools. The day was split into two events, a morning competition for small schools, followed by an afternoon competition for large schools.

The competition which was kindly hosted by St Neots Rugby Club welcomed 220 children, making up 21 teams. Each event was initially split into two groups allowing each team to play 3/4 matches against other schools, before determining who they would play in their final placing match.

The final results were:

Each event was ably supported by Sports Leaders from Hinchingbrooke School who took on officiating responsibilities throughout the day.

Special mention goes out to St Helen’s Primary School and Thongsley Fields Primary School who went away as the event School Games Value winners for showing fantastic Determination and Self Belief respectively.
